Cheap phone cards can be very helpful if you're trying to save money on domestic and international long distance calls. From time to time all of us need to call outside of our local phone area. It can be domestic call to other USA city or international call to other country.
Big the big long-distance companies charge unbelievable amount of money for each call. It depends on the time of day we are calling or some other things and of course which company we are going to use. But price per minute can be $0.15, $0.25 or even $0.50 per minute for USA domestic call! In this day and age those rates are ridiculous.
Save money on international calls using Cheap Phone Cards.
It's almost unbelievable but international calls can cost you up to $5 per minute. Worst of all, you find it only when you get your phone bill! Of course some phone companies offer you monthly plans and you pay less. But here's the silly part: you pay your monthly payment whether you make a call or not.
A pre-paid phone card is a card you purchase (for a set price) and use to make long distance phone calls. These cards are usually sold in dollar amounts or by number of minutes.
Many people use a pre-paid phone card because of the card’s convenience - it can be used anywhere and, since you pay in advance, there is no bill. Pre-paid phone cards are popular among travelers, students, people who frequently call overseas, and those who haven’t selected a long-distance service.
